Susan G. Komen Northeastern Pennsylvania is the local source for funding breast cancer detection, support and educational awareness in our 19 county service region. Through its 2014-2015 community grants, Komen NEPA is investing $160,525 in education, diagnosis, treatment and support programs here in our 19 county service region here provided by local organizations that serve uninsured or underinsured residents in our service area. Since it was founded in 1991, Komen NEPA has provided 3.5 million in funding to local breast health agencies and organizations, in the fight against breast cancer.
